Aloha Thompson Short, 72, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
Born in Henry County on February 28, 1945, Aloha was the daughter of the late Arthur and Laura Pilcher Thompson. A 1963 graduate of Henry County High School, she was retired from work for the Kentucky State Police legal department and spent several years as a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Aloha is survived by her husband, James K. Short, with whom she would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 23rd. She is also survived by a daughter, Tonja Sudduth (Grant); two grandchildren, Dustin Harness and Amanda Harness; and two great-grandchildren, Myla Grace and Sawyer James.
