Evelyn "Memee" Triplett Horn, 92, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

Born in Frankfort on August 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Annie Phillips Triplett. A graduate of Thornhill School, she was a phone operator in her early years and later worked in the bill rooms of the House and Senate before retiring. Evelyn was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church and she enjoyed attending Sunday School, spending time with her family, and caring for others.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Peggy Hixon and Kathy McFarland; seven grandchildren, Shannon Jordan, Rae Carol Ennis, Michael Hixon, Seth Hixon, Ben Harp, Gabe McFarland, and Behki Fuller; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Horn; three sisters, Mary Will Marshall, Helen McDaniel, and Julia Hamrick; four brothers, Charles, Harry, George, and L.T. Triplett; and a grandson, Aaron Hixon.

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with visitation preceding at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Frankfort Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crestwood Baptist Church.
