Obituary of Peggy Moore

Peggy Ann Moore, 60, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018. 

Born in Frankfort on September 23, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth C. and Emily Lou Harrod Moore. Her various jobs included farming, Pizza Hut, state government, Union Underwear, and a truck driver for Harrod Concrete & Stone. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister, she was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church as will be remembered for her strong faith.

Peggy is survived by a daughter, Amanda Carmack; two grandchildren, Adrianna and Jalen Lyons; two sisters, Charlene Mohr and Carrie J. West; two brothers, Charles W. Moore and Billy M. Moore; and her faithful companion Sam.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie J. Moore and Babe Yuma Moore; a brother-in-law, Cecil Mohr; and a nephew, Jared Miles Moore.

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral  Home at 11:00 am Thursday with Bro. Bob Karsner officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday. 

Pallbearers will be Charlie Moore, Jacob Moore, Cecil K. "Peeper" Moore, Jalen Lyons, and Ramson Maddix.

Honorary bearers will be Billy M. Moore, J.W. Knight, Adrianna Lyons, Charles Spencer, Janice Bybee, and Chris Hellard.

Contributions in Peggy's memory are suggested to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
