I was saddened by the news of John's passing. Growing up next door and being six years younger, John always seemed a little larger-than-life to me. I still think of him that way.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He ran to the tune of his own drummer. I remember him from grade school and then he kept in contact with my brother, Mike. He was always friendly. Know he will be missed.

Very sorry to read about John's death. I hadn't seen him or any of the Tinsley clan in many years, but have a lot of good memories on the Taylor/Tinsley farm from the 1980s when I lived in the back of Farmdale adjacent to the farm. I was lucky to be one with permission to be on the farm and my young daughter and I spent many days walking and observing back there. Our Mitchell family's best to all the Tinsleys.

I was very sorry to hear about John’s passing. I knew John from college at EKU. We had so many wonderful times together. John was a wonderful friend and I will miss him. My deepest condolence to his family.

My deepest sympathies to John's family. He was a man of unbridled spirit. My brother Rick ( Uncle Smiley), myself, family and many friends are indebted to John, for it is because of his keen eye and unparalleled gift as a horseman that we experienced joy filled moments watching a filly, that he pegged for great things, grow, train, race, win and successfully breed. Peace.
