Obituary of Dale Baker

On February 1, 2019, God called Allen "Dale " Baker home, leaving this world of pain and suffering to enter Heaven's gates of life and peace.

Dale was born in Louisville on July 6, 1956, the son of the late Frances Cunningham Baker and Foster Baker, Jr. He was a graduate of Frankfort High School, a former manager at Wendy's and KFC, and attended Leestown Gospel Church.

Dale is survived by his wife, Marla Ballinger Baker; two daughters, Jillian Nicole Baker and Brittany Dale Baker; a son, Jonathan Allen Baker; a sister, Diane Baker Roush (Dennis); a brother, Donald Reed Baker (Elly); and five grandchildren.

In honor of Dale's wishes, a celebration of his life will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6th. As Dale was a University of Kentucky athletics fanatic, he requested to be clothed in UK attire, and his family encourages all who attend to feel free to dress in UK blue in his honor.
