I am sorry this is late. I thought of Barbara today so I looked her up and was saddened to see her obituary. I was fortunate enough to get to know Barbara when I worked at Fitzgerald Drug while in high school. I especially remember how helpful she was to me on my wedding day. She seemed to know exactly what to do and when it needed to be done. She had a very calming presence. I am truly grateful to have known her and feel like I am a better person for it.

Barb and I became friends when we, along with Louise Kimmel, shared in teaching the Montessori Preschool and Kindergarten class at Good Shepherd School in 1986-87. We shared our love of children and family at that time and then later our love of music and singing in the choir at Good Shepherd. A very special family is in my prayers in their loss. My love to you all. Barbara, you are now with Our Lord who is holding you in His loving arms keeping you safe and without pain or sufferings.
