I have just learned of John's passing (July 5, 2023), and am so sorry to know he is gone. I have never met a finer person than John, and will always remember the many kindnesses he showed to me, and to many, many others over the years. (We worked together on a regular basis at the Kentucky Supreme Court during the 80s, and I served on several boards with him during later years). I send my sincerest condolences to his family and his many friends.
