Joan Francis "Jody" Gershman was born February 27, 1953 to the late Donna (Gross) Gershman and Irvine Gershman. She is survived by her siblings Mark T. Gershman of Portland, Oregon and Elizabeth A. Gershman of Slatington, Pennsylvania.
In spite of being extremely intelligent, beautiful, very thoughtful, and having a great sense of style and humor, her life was ravaged by mental illness. It is the hope of her brother and sister that she be remembered from her better days, and those who knew her never ignore signs of mental illness from those they love.
Jody passed away at the age of 71 on May 1, 2024. No services are planned at this time.
