Obituary of Susanne Mucci

Susanne Mucci, 93, passed away Saturday morning, January 20th after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late John and Susie Mucci. After graduating from Good Shepherd High School she attended and graduated from St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Louisville. She was a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lexington and Kings Daughters Hospital in Frankfort.

Susanne was adored by 15 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 8 siblings, Nellie and Flora Mucci, Grace Lynch, John Mucci, Mary Evelyn Cecil, Carl Mucci, Mary Lou Crockett and Tom Mucci and nephew John Mucci, III.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Wednesday, January 24th at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Rogers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
