Obituary of Mary Willhite Riddell

Mary Helen Willhite Riddell, 67, went home to the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. 

Born on November 20, 1950, Mary was the daughter of the late and Valentine Ardele Hill Willhite and Ralph Vernon Willhite. 

Mary was retired from IAWP and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She walked strong in her faith with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

She is survived by her husband, Homer William “Butch” Riddell;  two daughters, Amy Lynn Stodghill and Laura Paige Stodghill; a son, Craig Allan Stodghill; two sisters, Shirley Willhite Work (Mike) and Denise Willhite Dowling (Keith); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Dr. R. Keith Willhite. 

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m on Friday followed by burial in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. 

Pallbearers will be Craig Allan Stodghill, Darius Tooley, Kyle Bishop, David Willhite, David Mason, and James Holland. Pastor Steve Rose and Pastor David Rayburn will officiate the services. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Providence Baptist Church Building Fund.
